I have found my resolution, but resolution is cold without passion. But then, passion consumes itself in its own flames without the temperament of resolution, right? Yes, of course it does.
There will be challenges: there are always challenges, but there must be some satisfaction in the process. Remember you silly, pretentious writer, there is no piety in suffering. If you're not having fun, why are you doing this?
(It could be pure sadism, but only a dash of that is required for the process.)
