Things That Must Be

I would love to say that I have an extensive style guide written down in a multi-point presentation, but this far in, we all know that isn't the case. Instead, I have these concise guidelines, and so far, they seem to be all I need. I will update if I add anything to them.

-Novel Criteria-

-It must be interesting and thoughtfully presented.

-It must be engaging.

-It must be character and dialogue driven.

-It must not be filled with exposition.

-The narrative must utilize brevity.

-It must let the reader connect the dots. (No over-explaining or heavy handed foreshadowing.)
